Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how LeonInkStudio handles information when you visit this website (the "Site"). LeonInkStudio publishes coloring books. The Site is a catalog of those books: it has no shop, no checkout, no customer accounts and no sign-up forms. Books are printed, sold and shipped by Amazon.
1. About this website and our use of AI
The Site presents LeonInkStudio coloring books and links to the pages where they can be bought. AI tools may assist with parts of the Site's design and development, the preparation of its content, and our creative production. Using these tools does not change how we handle personal information, which is described below.
2. Information we collect
We keep this short because the Site collects very little.
- Information you send us by email. If you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to put in your message.
- Technical information. When you load a page, your browser sends standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Our hosting provider processes this data to deliver the Site and keep it secure.
- Information handled by third parties. If you follow a link to Amazon or another platform, that platform collects information under its own policies (see section 5).
The Site does not ask you to create an account, enter payment details or fill in a form. When you buy a book on Amazon, we do not receive your payment details from Amazon.
3. How we use your information
- to read and answer your messages;
- to deliver the Site, keep it working and protect it against abuse;
- to meet legal obligations and to establish or defend legal claims where necessary.
We do not use the information described here to build advertising profiles.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
The Site does not run analytics, advertising pixels, attribution tags or social media trackers, and it does not set cookies of its own. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technologies for security and performance, under its own privacy terms.
If we add analytics, advertising, attribution or similar technologies in the future, we will update this Policy, and put in place any consent mechanism the law requires, before or when those technologies are turned on.
5. Third-party marketplaces and service providers
Marketplaces. LeonInkStudio does not sell books directly on this Site and does not process payments. When you follow a "Buy on Amazon" link, or a link to another marketplace such as Etsy where applicable, you leave the Site. The purchase, your payment and any personal information you provide there are handled by that platform under its own privacy terms. We do not control how those platforms collect or use your data.
Service providers. We use a small number of providers to run the Site and our email:
- Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers the Site;
- Google Workspace, which handles email sent to our address.
These providers process information on our behalf and under their own privacy and security terms.
6. We do not sell your personal information
LeonInkStudio does not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only with the service providers listed above so they can do their job, or when the law requires it.
7. Your rights and how to delete your data
You can ask us to give you access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Where applicable, you can also object to or ask us to limit how we use it.
To make a request, email info@leoninkstudio.com with the subject "Privacy Request". We may need to confirm that the request comes from you. We will respond within a reasonable period and as required by applicable law. We may keep some information when the law requires it.
Information held by Amazon or other platforms has to be requested from them directly, using the tools they provide.
8. Data retention
We keep emails and the information in them only as long as we need them to reply, to keep a reasonable record of our correspondence or to meet legal obligations. After that we delete them. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider according to its own retention practices.
9. Security
The Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we use reasonable measures to protect the information we receive. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's privacy
Some of our coloring books may suit younger readers, but the Site is not designed to collect information from children. LeonInkStudio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Testimonials and reviews
The Site does not currently display customer reviews or testimonials. If we show them in the future, they will come from real customers, we will have the right to use them, and we will not present paid or incentivized comments as independent opinions. We do not write or invent reviews.
12. Third-party links
The Site links to websites we do not operate, mainly Amazon. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Please read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.
13. Changes to this Policy
We will update this Policy when the Site changes, for example before adding analytics or a sign-up form. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
14. Governing law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without limiting any privacy rights that may apply to you based on where you live.
